1. Service
wausernames provides a username search and waitlist service for the WhatsApp username feature launching in 2026. It does not currently facilitate transfers, listings, or payments.
2. Independence
wausernames is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by WhatsApp Inc., Meta Platforms, or any of their subsidiaries.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to use the waitlist. You agree not to misrepresent your identity, attempt to scrape the service, or use it for unlawful purposes.
4. No guarantees
We do not guarantee the availability of any specific username on WhatsApp. We do not guarantee that WhatsApp will permit username transfers. The search tool reflects the publicly-announced format only; it does not query WhatsApp's servers.
5. Future marketplace features
If wausernames opens a transfer marketplace, additional terms will apply at that time. By using the current waitlist you do not commit to use any future marketplace.
6. Limitation of liability
Service is provided “as is.” We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of a desired username.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; the “last updated” date will reflect the change. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
